Graham Sword, formally known to everyone as Swordy. Only 39, lived in Backworth for many years. Tragically, beyond reason, ended his own life in Jesmond. Always remember him laughing at everything. Never ever saw him without a smile on his face. Always with a smoke in his hand, and a drink by his side, and upto a few months ago, his mate, Joe. Invited him to our wedding, last year, he was laughing and carrying on with everybody there. Everybody knew he had some problems, but what a shock, problems, but not to that extent.
Football crazy nutter. Never missed a match on telly. Always had a crowd around him. Will be sorely missed, can't believe your problems had got to the extent that you decided you had had enough. You must have been a brave person to do what you did. With greatest respect to you Swordy, hope you are at peace now with yourself and living it up wherever you may be. Its been awhile since i last spoke to you on here but that doesnt mean ive stopped thinking about you coz your always in my mind n you will always be in my heart. Love you so much. I would give anything so u could be with us again only if things were different! Hope your behaving yourself up there. Am still wid Alan thats comin up 2 about 8years its been along time,lol. we are moving house on the 6th of April so weve both just been busy gettin ready to move etc..., Am gunna be 23 soon aswell fell like am getting old haha. :-D, where does the time go! Hi Dad, havent been on here for ages and was thinking about you so thought i would come on here i talk to you. Just wish things were diferent n we got in touch with each other n maybe you still would be here. We had some really good times when i was younger, i loved every min being with you. I love you so much and just wish u could know that now. Can you mind that dog teddy bear you got me ive still got it i loved it so much, i would go everywhere with it when i was younger. Malcolm was talking about you the other day saying when you took him out on that bike you had. He loved it, lol.

Well son here I am again! Although its bin a long time. I cry every time I go on to this site. It was soon nice to hear that Yvonne and family still miss you honey. Who would ever know that there is a flat called 'swordy flat' eh!!! You would love your little nephew he is the apple of mine eye. Your in my heart for ever honey. I dont think there is a day goes by without us talking about you. I miss your smile and kisses, although you used to say 'mind nee tongues' ha! swordy u are sadley missed by all ov us in shrewsbury drive its not the same with out u we never hear the tunes and u singing the football u chanting from ur window its silence but we all still call it swordys flat we still remember the swordy always laughin we all thought the world ov u and still do wish the clocks wud turn back and i will always say if u never had 2 leave ur flat ud still be with u now ul never be forgotton by all ov us yvonne,danielle,shaun,joe.reece,nicola.little darren.big daz,jade and anna-marie we all love u swordy til we meet again xxx

Well today would have been your 41st birthday love. This is the second birthday we have been without you. Time goes on dont it honey. You would have been the first one down the pub - you didnt need excuses to celebrate! You are in my thoughts every day honey. Lisa and I always talking about you sometimes laughing sometimes crying. Well Newcastle top of the first division and playing well - so you would not have been too disappointed. Got a puppy today - its tiny called buster - no dont it will be peeing all over - but it is company for me. I bought a house plant in memory of you today it takes proud place on the fireplace. Miss your laughter pet! you could always make me laugh even when I was trying to 'tell you off' I couldnt be mad for long. Well its been a while since I wrote to you but you are in my thoughts everyday love. Well Newcastle in 1st Division now but at least they are the top of that one instead of being at the bottom of the premier league!. No doubt you are saying Hi! to Bobby Robson up there. You loved that man. Ebony gets bigger every day. Dana keeps in touch too, she lets me know how she is and what her plans are. Drew gets bigger every day you would have adored him pet. He is just lovely and so well behaved. He has your smile too! Was at Amble the other day and it brought back a lot of memories of when you and Lisa were yonger, we used to love it there.
